These suction cups work rather well. However, they could be improved. The release tabs seem to degrade over time and release a sticky substance that is difficult to remove from the guitar. In addition, the screws have pointed tips that slightly protrude through the guitar-side of the cup, potentially damaging the finish of the guitar if the cups were to be pressed down too aggressively.
